2 9689/51/O/N/19 © UCLES 2019 Translate into Tamil: Have you ever wondered what people really mean when they talk about having a healthy balance between work and leisure? Some people live for their days off work, but if we are only happy when we are not working, we are wasting a lot of time! If we feel constantly stressed, it is a sign of imbalance in our life. Therefore, it is important to get enough rest and relaxation. This does not only mean sitting and doing nothing, but also doing something different. It does not matter whether it is doing sport, spending time outside enjoying the fresh air or being with your family, as long as it is enjoyable. We also need to consider what happens when we retire. Sometimes people find that they have nothing to do when they stop working and realise, too late, that it was only their work that gave them an identity. Unless they have a plan, they can feel disorientated and will be unable to enjoy what they have been looking forward to for so many years. Many retired people find meaning and purpose by becoming more involved in their local community. [40] … … … … … … … … … … … … … … … … … … … … …
